- Subclass Feature
- Inured to Undeath: You have been so fully immersed in death that you are resistant to necrotic damage and that you are unable to lose any more of your maximum hit points. All it does is assist you fight other necrotic spell-casters, and it’s nice not to have your health lowered.

Level 11
At level 11, the Wizard gains access to level 6 spells, the highest level in the game. You’ll have one level 6 spell slot and fifteen prepared spells, but can only learn two spells. For this build, Create Undead will be our primary level 6 spell, though you can opt for another spell if circumstances prevent you from using it or if you’re unable to summon Undead.
- Spell Selection
- Circle of Death: Cover a creature with a vast sphere of entropic energy. Destroy the target and every living creature in the area. On Save: Half damage is still dealt to targets. This spell has a large area of effect, but it needs a main point target. It should strike our necromancy wizard quite badly because it is necrotic damage.
- Create Undead: Bring a corpse to life as a monstrous mummy that defends you. The corpse must be little or medium in size. The strongest level undead corpse we can conjure, with plenty of health and potent damage.
Keep in mind that you can only use one level 6 spell slot per long rest. However, you can negate the cost of a single spell by using the Staff of Spellpower or the legendary quarterstaff of Markoheshkir. This allows you to cast Heal when a teammate requires it and use Heroes’ Feast to provide your party with a significant buff. These two items should be prioritized for collection in this build.
